The MIND Foundation's Augmented Psychotherapy Training (APT) program provides licensed professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely incorporate innovative, science-based therapies, such as ketamine- or psychedelic-assisted approaches, into their clinical practice. Many dedicated therapists, especially those working in public healthcare or educational settings, cannot afford this advanced 400-hour training on their own.
Your donation provides scholarships that enable these therapists to participate, thereby multiplying the impact of your gift across countless future patients and contributing to the development of a more compassionate, evidence-based mental health system.
Note: MIND Foundation is a registered non-profit organization. Your donation is tax-deductable.
For decades, treatment options for depression, trauma, and anxiety have barely advanced. However, research into psychedelic-assisted therapies now offers a once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform lives.
The careful use of compounds such as psilocybin, MDMA, and ketamine in psychotherapy has provided rapid and lasting relief for patients who found no help elsewhere. Studies from leading universities and medical centers demonstrate meaningful improvements in emotional processing, connection, and meaning-making.
Still, to realize this potential, it is crucial to train as many qualified therapists as possible to safely and responsibly apply these methods, helping to build a future where mental healthcare enables true healing and recovery.
Your donation will help fund a scholarship.
We believe that successful implementation of psychedelic therapies requires more than just regulatory and legal frameworks – it demands a robust network of trained therapists equipped with the skills and ethics to deliver these therapies to those who need them most. To achieve this, we offer a range of practical educational courses focused on psychedelic therapies and mental health.
Augmented Psychotherapy Training (APT)
Our flagship program, the 15-month Augmented Psychotherapy Training (APT) course, is designed for psychiatrists, psychotherapists, and other mental health professionals. This comprehensive course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to conduct psychedelic therapies safely and effectively, awarding 74 CME points upon completion.
Other educational programs
Our public communication involves the media, those interested in psychedelic experience themselves and the general public. Besides the APT course, we also offer the online Molecules course on the science of psychoactive drugs, the Footsteps online-course on psychedelic integrations, as well as our 4-day in-person workshop on integrating psychedelic experiences, Beyond Experience.
“The APT course, I would say is really, a gift to yourself. To yourself at a personal level and at a professional level, but even more a gift for your client that you try to help with severe mental health issues.”
- Jessica Soolsma, Psychiatrist, APT participant
