In our upcoming INSIGHT Forum, we turn our attention to a rapidly evolving and often overlooked dimension of psychedelic use: its potential impact on public health and everyday well-being.
We begin the evening, as always, with the Transrationale segment. A guided embodiment and mindfulness practice will invite participants to connect with their inner landscape and cultivate an awareness that supports lasting transformation. By tuning into the body and creating space for what is present, we lay the groundwork for reflecting on how altered states can shape long-term behavior in clinical settings and daily life.
In the Rationale segment, we welcome our guest speaker Prof. Dr. Pedro Teixeira, who will present new research at the intersection of psychedelics and health behavior change. While psychedelics have long been investigated as treatments for mental illness or addiction, most users are not patients. Many engage with these substances outside of therapy, and yet report meaningful and enduring changes — from shifts in diet, sleep, and exercise, to enhanced social connection and community engagement. These findings have given rise to a new field: Psychedelics Public Health, which explores how psychedelics might contribute to population-wide well-being.
This presentation will explore key questions:
In the concluding discussion, we bring together contemplative and scientific perspectives to reflect on the broader implications for both individuals and society. How do we responsibly support personal transformation beyond the clinical setting? What role can mindfulness, community, and intention play in anchoring these changes?
The INSIGHT Forum offers a space where research, inner practice, and cultural reflection meet. It is designed for professionals and curious minds alike — anyone interested in an ethical, grounded, and human-centered engagement with psychedelics, well-being, and social change.
