PhD, MS, LPCC Rafaelle Lancelotta

Rafaelle Lancelotta, PhD, LPCC, is a psychedelic therapy researcher and licensed clinician whose work focuses on the relational and contextual factors that shape psychedelic therapy outcomes. She recently completed her PhD in Social Work Research at The Ohio State University, where her research examined social support, therapeutic alliance, and other extrapharmacological factors in psychedelic-assisted therapy. She has served as a therapist and co-guide in Phase II psilocybin trials for veterans with PTSD and for patients with non-small cell lung cancer and major depression, and has co-facilitated multiple psilocybin-assisted therapy trainings. Rafaelle is an author of over 25 peer-reviewed publications, including early survey and harm-reduction research on 5-MeO-DMT, and she administers 5meodmt.org, a long-running online harm reduction community. Her broader work centers on ethics, equity, and community-based approaches to making psychedelic care safer and more accessible.
