Gerhard Gründer is Professor of Psychiatry and Head of the Department of Molecular Neuroimaging at the Central Institute of Mental Health in Mannheim. His research focuses on the neurobiology of mental disorders and clinical psychopharmacology. His research methods include functional imaging techniques such as positron emission tomography (PET) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). He is the initiator and head of the clinical trial of the EPIsoDE study (psilocybin depression study) and Medical Director of the OVID Clinic Berlin.
