Lea Winkelius
Research and Knowledge Exchange Intern
I am Lea, and I have been interning at MIND from August 2020 – October 2020. My Master’s studies are in clinical psychology, for which I have to do 2 internships to get an insight into the work of a psychologist. I chose MIND because I am very interested in new potential ways for psychotherapy. Therefore I see psychedelic therapy as a groundbreaking opportunity to expand the use of therapy. Especially the research and organization behind it was what interested me the most. During my internship, I was responsible for editing Blog articles and research new findings and topics. Furthermore, I helped with the preparation of the Symposium and supported the onsite organization of the event. I got an insight view in an organization that promotes research and connects people in that field. After the internship, I am excited to get more knowledge in the field and follow MINDs development.
