Dr. Marvin Däumichen

Dr. Marvin Däumichen holds a Ph.D. in social sciences and prevention research, with a focus on digital media and psychoactive substances. As a co-founder of the MIND Foundation, he has played a key role in developing initiatives that promote public education, science communication, and support for early career researchers. Among these are the uniMIND Journal Club Network, the MIND Blog, and MIND conferences such as the INSIGHT Conference and the uniMIND Symposium.

In his role as Head of Members & Community, Marvin develops and manages the networks and activities that form the MIND Foundation ecosystem, building connections across scientific, clinical, and cultural contexts. Together with Simon Reichersdörfer, he is also the Director of the INSIGHT Forum, a key educational platform in the psychedelic research and therapy field that integrates social sciences, humanities, clinical perspectives, and contemplative practices.

In addition to his work at the MIND Foundation, Marvin currently serves as the Chair of the MIND Members Association, guiding its development to foster a thriving global community that supports MIND’s mission and empowers members to engage meaningfully in thir personal and professional development.

Marvin's longstanding commitment to consciousness practices and human development informs his dedication to promoting science-driven, responsible approaches to psychedelic experiences.
