Dr. Marvin Däumichen
Deputy Managing Director
Dr. Marvin Däumichen holds a Ph.D. in social sciences and prevention research, with a focus on digital media and psychoactive substances. He is a co-founder and shareholder of the MIND Foundation and currently serves as Deputy Managing Director (stellvertretender Geschäftsführer). In this role, he supports the Managing Director in the strategic and operational leadership of the organization, coordinates cross-departmental priorities, and manages key staff and projects. His focus lies on ensuring organizational stability, effective team leadership, and the successful implementation of MIND’s mission.
Alongside this position, Marvin is Director of the INSIGHT Forum, MIND’s educational platform for transdisciplinary dialogue at the intersection of science, therapy, culture, and contemplative practice. Besides, he is also the Chair of the MIND Members Association, fostering a global community that supports MIND’s mission and empowers members to engage meaningfully in their personal and professional development.
As one of the initiators and lead developers of several cornerstone initiatives of the MIND Foundation – including the uniMIND Journal Club Network, the MIND Blog, and the INSIGHT Conference series and INSIGHT Forum – Marvin has played a key role in shaping the organization’s ecosystem since its inception. His longstanding commitment to consciousness research and human development informs his dedication to science-driven, responsible approaches to psychedelic experiences.
