Impulse Talk

A recent mega-analysis across 11 resting-state fMRI datasets identifies a consistent pattern: increased functional connectivity between transmodal and unimodal networks, alongside reduced within-network integrity. These findings point to a temporary reorganization of large-scale brain networks and increased neural flexibility. However, transient neurobiological change is not sufficient for therapeutic outcomes. In Psychedelic-Augmented Psychotherapy (PAT), these states are embedded in structured psychotherapeutic processes and translated into sustained change.

In this session, we discuss:

  • Current neuroimaging evidence and its interpretation
  • Implications for therapeutic mechanisms
  • How to work with “windows of change” in clinical practice

APT Info Session

The talk will be followed by an overview of our Augmented Psychotherapy Training (APT) - with opportunities for Q&A.
