The Augmented Psychotherapy Training (APT) is MIND’s flagship, 15-month professional training for clinicians who want to lead the future of psychedelic therapy.
Designed and delivered by internationally recognized researchers and expert therapists, APT provides exclusive access to cutting-edge methods, clinical experience, and a global network of pioneers in the field.
Combining Psychedelic-Augmented Psychotherapy and Integration-Focused Psychotherapy, the program follows a high-impact hybrid model with weekly online learning and three immersive on-site intensives in Berlin. MIND is a globally regarded institution at the forefront of psychedelic research and clinical innovation — and APT is your gateway to becoming part of that movement.
Psychedelic psychotherapy is gaining growing attention.
Over recent decades, robust research in clinical and psychotherapeutic contexts has examined the therapeutic potential of psychedelic compounds. Today, regulatory processes are advancing across multiple countries; selected psychedelic-assisted treatments are available in many jurisdictions already today, whereas non-pharmacological modalities (e.g., immersive breathwork) are accessible everywhere.
However, psychedelic therapy is not solely pharmacological. The therapeutic context, therapist competencies, the patient-therapist relationship, and psychotherapeutic methods applied throughout preparatory, dosing, and integration sessions are central to its effectiveness.
The Importance of Professional Training
Although interest in psychedelic therapies is growing, many clinicians feel inadequately prepared to deliver these interventions safely and effectively. Clinical trials are conducted in highly controlled environments and often involve carefully selected participants. In routine practice, clinicians face greater variability in patient presentations, including complex psychiatric comorbidities and differing levels of psychosocial support. Furthermore, treatments must be individually tailored to optimize safety and efficacy, all while using available resources and accommodating local constraints.
