Becoming a psychedelic therapist – APT Info Event (IN ENGLISH)

The Augmented Psychotherapy Training (APT) is a fifteen-month-long professional training program developed by the MIND Foundation. This online meetup on ZOOM will provide you with information about the program. You will also have the chance to ask any questions you may have. We recommend you to read the available information on APT on the MIND Website before attending the meetup.

How is music used in psychedelic augmented psychotherapy?

Music plays a central role in psychedelic augmented psychotherapy (PAP), as it not only deepens the patient's emotional and mental experience, but can also support the therapeutic process in the long term. But what kind of music is most effective? In this lecture, we will examine the effectiveness of different styles of music such as classical music, film music and overtone-rich compositions created with special instruments. We will also look at the technical setup used in practice, from audio quality to room acoustics, and give recommendations on how to optimize these aspects. The aim is to provide evidence-based and practice-oriented insights on how to make the best possible use of music in PAP sessions and fully exploit its therapeutic potential.

Info event in English via Zoom on Tuesday, March 18th at 8 pm CET.
