Dr. Ursel Barnes

Ursel grew up in West Berlin and studied economics and finance in Vienna, Austria. She worked in finance and retired in her late 20’s. She founded Yabonga Children’s Project in Cape Town in the late 90’s and worked with HIV positive mothers and their children. In 2011 she moved to the UK with her husband and their four children. Ursel qualified as a MSc in Coaching and Behavioural Change. She is an impact investor and philanthropist with interests in education, brain health and climate change.
