John Jacobsen, M.Sc.

John Jacobsen, M.Sc., serves as Head of Fundraising at the MIND Foundation in Berlin.  An alumnus of Copenhagen Business School, where he studied Marketing, Economy and Innovation, John later deepened his understanding of fundraising at the Danish Innovation Centre, Aarhus University, ECSG and at the McDonald Children Foundation. He is a member of various European networks like the network for Climate change impacts on mental health in Europe (CliMent) and has been part of raising more than 100 million Euro in soft funding. Previously, he evaluated proposals under the European Innovation Council and their Accelerator program. 

John focus is on raising funds for the critical mission to bring evidence-based psychedelic therapies into public health care, making these potentially life-changing treatments accessible to all.

In his free time he bikes a lot. This year he joined Europe's biggest charity bike ride/challenge – Team Rynkeby. In July he and his team will bike to Paris in 8 days and collect donations for children with cancer.
