Aleksandra Urbańczyk

Aleksandra Urbańczyk is a freshly graduated psychologist and an intern at the MIND Foundation. She currently supports the APT Office and assists the team in their daily organizational and research-related tasks.She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from the Jagiellonian University (2025). Her main academic interest is migration psychology, especially the mental health and well-being of migrants. She is focused on understanding how migration experiences shape psychological functioning and how evidence-based methods can better support those facing these challenges.Deeply committed to holistic, person-centered care, Aleksandra values approaches that integrate scientific rigor with curiosity, innovation, and continuous learning. This perspective connects with her growing interest in psychedelic science, especially its potential to inform more effective mental health strategies for vulnerable and  populations. She is intrigued by how psychedelic-assisted therapies might contribute to resilience-building, and long-term well-being.She aims to pursue a research-oriented career and continue developing within the fields of mental health science and migration studies.
